Dagohoy Marker is found in barangay Magtangtang in the town of Danao which is located in the interior part of Bohol. The marker was installed by the Philippine Historical Commission to honor the great Boholano hero Francisco Dagohoy who led the longest revolt against the Spaniards which lasted for about four years. It was said that Dagohoy had established the Republic of Bohol.
