The newly created San Isidro Municipality is bounded in the north by the town of Tubigon, Catigbian in the east, Antequera in the south, and Calape in the northwest. San Isidro natives depend on their coconut tree crops as the means of their livelihood. It is also a place where sedimentary rocks called oil shakes can be found. For in the hills, the abundance of such shales are known to exist.
